Closed rhinoplasty can be performed to straighten the deviated septum and perform cosmetic changes. The advantage of closed rhinoplasty is that it avoids a scar across the columella which in some patients can be noticeable. The patient below underwent closed rhinoplasty over 3 years ago. Her tip was refined and lifted, dorsal hump removed and deviated septum straightened. By 3 years after rhinoplasty, nearly all swelling has resolved from the tip.
