Laser Hair Removal
Laser hair treatment allows to permanently destroy growing hair. Laser hair removal has become a very commonly performed procedure in the United States.
A number of different lasers exist that hair various degrees of effectiveness and treatment discomfort.
What kind of laser do you use?
We use a Candela GentleLASE. This laser is one of the most effective lasers for permanent hair reduction in the United States. We have personally tested other lasers and found that GentleLASE treatments were very effective and least uncomfortable.
How many treatments does it take?
Laser destroys only those hair follicles that are in the state of active growth. While some hair follicles are forming hair, others are dormant. Therefore, it takes several treatments to destroy most hair follicles. Touch up treatments may also be needed.
Is laser hair removal painful?
Having tested other lasers, we concluded that treatments with GentleLASE are least least uncomfortable. The integrated cryogen cooling spray allows for virtually pain-free treatments in most areas. Topical numbing creams are available for more sensitive areas.
