Beverly Hills Breast Augmentation

Beverly Hill Breast enlargement (or breast augmentation Beverly Hills) is a frequently performed procedure. Breast augmentation is done to increase the size of breasts, restore breast volume which may have diminished following pregnancy, or improve breast asymmetry. A breast lift may be required in some patients who developed breast sagging (ptosis). Breast enlargement is performed using silicone or saline breast implants.

During your consultation with us, you will be able to estimate what volume you desire for your breast augmentation (breast enlargement). The final volume will be determined based on your desired volume and your chest/body anatomy. Our goal is to create enhanced and naturally appearing breasts.

What kind of breast implants do you use?

We use silicone and saline-filled implants. Saline is salt water which is harmless. Silicone breast implants have been recently approved by FDA for breast augmentation as well. Breast implants have different widths and amount of projection. We will discuss the different types of breast implants with you and choose the type that will produce the desired cosmetic result.

How is breast augmentation (breast implant insertion) performed?

A small incision is placed under the breast, around the areolar (pigmented circle around the nipple), or in the armpit. The choice of the incision will be discussed with you and will depend on your preference and your breast anatomy. A breast implants pocked is created under the muscle where the implant is then placed. In most patients we use general anesthesia for breast augmentation, which provides a safe and completely pain free experience.

What is recovery like following breast augmentation?

Your initial discomfort (usually described as pressure) will be controlled using pain medications. A breast implant support bra will be worn for 2-3 weeks. To achieve the thinnest possible scar, we use absorbable sutures that do not need to be removed as well as skin glue. Most swelling will resolve within several weeks. Most people return to work within a week. Within two months the breasts will soften and improve in appearance.
